Aadhar card necessary for seva darshan at tirumala?.

Forgot your aadhar card for seva darshan at tirumala? Already started or in the middle of your pilgrimage travel?

Do not panic. It happens to everyone. You are not alone and as your family members say, you are not a useless person :) It happens!

Here is the real situation we faced 2 months earlier in August 2019.

Okay, what if we didn't bring aadhar card? Will they allow us inside or send us back, as original adhar card is mandatory for attending sevas and special darshan?

We all a group of 25 were in the middle of the journey to TTD for attending Kalyanotsavam Seva and Vasanthotsavam. Suddenly I realized that I didn't take aadhar card for my spouse. We can't go back since we are already half way. I called the enquiry and they were not helpful either. So below I present the damage control we did,

1) I made my spouse to download mAdhar app in her mobile from Google Playstore. Through that app we were able to download the Aadhar. We took color printout of the same on the way
2) Thankfully in the google drive, she had soft copy of her voter ID and our smart Ration Card. We took photocopies of them as well ( Just in case, to prove the identity and we are a couple, really!!)
3) With the back up, We went inside the counter with fingers crossed.
4) Know what, it looked like for Kalyanotsavam seva it is sufficient if either one of you carry original Aadhar card  (Kalyanotsavam seva is supposed to be attended by couples)
5) Even for special darshan ticket, it is ok if either one of you carry original Aadhar card (It totally depends on your luck and the person at the counter who checks the proofs).

Finally relieved ! We went inside happily and had a good darshan and came back. However, If you are going to start your journey, please make sure that you have Aadhar cards for all your family members. If you are in the middle of the travel and forgot to carry the original proofs, Panic not!!  Please do not think about the situation. Instead just enjoy your travel and your company. Everything will be alright at the end.

Afterall, its Lord Venkateswara Swamy's calling!! Have a safe journey !
